Thanks for visiting.
This is a blog that helps to answer on a day-to-day basis, the apparently baffling, and now time-honoured question:
‘What do vegans eat?’
A blog of vegan recipes, some traditional, some innovative. If you want to change your ways of eating to a plant-based, nutritional, varied, interesting and well-balanced diet, then look no further. There’s something here for everyone, with a particular bias toward new and hopeful vegans. A blog full of ideas, open to adaptions and innovations, but some great starting points. Going vegan can take a bit of adjustment, and this blog is here to help.
Vegan Food For Peace brings veganism and world foods together in one blog, in the belief that the future is vegan.
It’s an ongoing and possibly never-ending (lol) exploration of innovative and traditional recipes from across the globe, with fusion twists and vegan adaptations.
No doubt some of these recipes will seem familiar…some of them novel, and some of them very old-fashioned. What you can be sure of is, that they’ve all been tested at least once, and they’re all vegan. Cruelty-free. So whether you’re just interested in plant-based food, or trying to make the break to veganism, or you’ve been vegan for years already, there’s something here for you……
Peaceful, cruelty-free, plant-based, nutritional dishes.
Whatever your budget. Whatever your tastes.
Learning to cook with compassion. Learning to cook for peace.
Good food, without brutality. Without killing.
The seeds of compassion are sown at your table.
Peace
.
to everyone
.
and everything

Vegan Food For Peace
Recently I’ve been reading a lot of nutrition books with a strong vegan or vegetarian influence. I’ve been slowly cutting back on animal products so I’m excited to check out your blog.

Hi Nancy!
I’m really enjoying reading through the recipes on your blog (as well as looking at the lovely pictures!). I’m Dena and I’m a college student double majoring in dietetics and journalism at the University of Maryland. Though I am not vegan, I am vegetarian and follow a plant-based diet. I really enjoy vegan food, however, and I’m looking forward to trying some of your recipes!
Feel free to check out my blog, The Artsy Palate, where I post recipes and tips for eating healthfully in college (and beyond, of course 😉 ). https://theartsypalate.wordpress.com/
